Thermal Imaging

We use Thermal Imaging as part of our troubleshooting and preventative maintenance duties. By having these tools at our disposal, we are able to make our troubleshooting workflow more efficient. We can diagnose items that require immediate attention as well as identify potential issues.

Above is a thermal image of a circuit breaker for a dryer. The dryer appeared to be working fine, but as you can see, one wire is very hot. This unsafe condition was caused by a loose connection.

Above is a thermal image of the same circuit breaker. After tightening the terminal the temperature immediately lowered, equalizing at 36.5 degrees.
